What is Ceramic Coating?

Ceramic Coating is a protective barrier that is applied to the exterior surfaces of a vehicle to provide long-lasting protection and enhance your vehicles appearance for years to come. It consists of a liquid polymer (most commonly SiOâ‚‚-based or SiC-based) that chemically bonds with your vehicles clear coat.  Once it fully cures, the molecules harden to a glass shield.

Is Ceramic Coating bulletproof?

Many Gurus on social media claim to say that ceramic coating is bulletproof, and you will never need to wash your car again. But it is actually NOT bulletproof by any means, however it offers exceptional results compared to your regular waxes or sealants. The coating works by creating a hydrophobic, glass barrier between your paint and the environmental factors while on the road. Which repels water, dirt, and other contaminants, making it easier to clean and maintain your vehicle. It also offers exceptional long-lasting protection from the environmental factors, UV rays, oxidation, and chemical stains. Ceramic Coating will give your vehicle a glossy, sleek finish, effectively preserving the original condition of the vehicle.

Who should invest in Ceramic?

Ceramic Coatings may be for you if you recently purchased a new vehicle, plan on keeping your vehicle for at least the next 3+ years, or despise seeing your car dirty in your driveway. Ceramic Coating would fit any car enthusiasts who wants to take care of their possession and have it maintained on a regular basis. Ceramic Coating will offer you the long-lasting protection your car needs against outside elements, enhance the appearance of your car, and easy maintenance insuring you'll have plenty of time to get your car looking good for weekend adventures. Additionally, car enthusiasts and owners of luxury or high-performance vehicles often choose ceramic coating to preserve the showroom shine and the vehicles value.

What is the maintenance on my freshly Ceramic Coated vehicle?

Overtime, outside elements like dirt and debris will clog the coating if not well maintained. If the coating is not properly maintained, the coating will begin to break down, fail, loose its protective durability, and loose its glossy-look finish. We offer a maintenance program for you after your vehicle has been ceramic coated by us to keep the coating fresh, and well maintained. After every maintenance wash, it's like pressing the reset button on your vehicles look while adding an extra 6-12 months of protection, gloss, and durability all done with a high-quality ceramic coating enhancer. You may ask yourself, " After I get my car Ceramic Coated, how often should I get my vehicle maintained?" Ultimately that question is based on your personal economic factors, however we recommend once a month, or at minimum 4 times a year, at the change of each season. Keep in mind the more your vehicle is maintained the better, and the longer it will last.

What's the application process?

The process of applying ceramic coating generally involves a few steps and must be done in a controlled environment, (not outside in your driveway with your neighbors mowing their lawn.) First, the surface needs to be thoroughly cleaned and decontaminated to remove any dirt, oils, or previous waxes or coatings. This step can include washing, clay bar treatment, 3 step paint correction, wet-sanding, touch up paint. The prep is crucial before applying the coating because the coating needs to have a strong bond to the clear coat with nothing interfering with it in order for the coating to last.  Removing all the scratches and imperfections prior to applying the coating is also very important because the coating itself will actually amplify any scratches that were not removed after the coating goes onto the vehicle. Once the preparation is complete, the ceramic coating is carefully applied using an applicator going panel by panel. The coating then needs to cure for 12 hours and not be washed for 24 hours. It will take a full 7 days for the coating to fully cure. It is important for us to follow the manufacturer's instructions for the application, curing process, and maintenance to ensure the best results to not void the warranty.
